For saxophonist Ben Flocks and his latest release Moonshades, the moon is a reminder of the unknowable and the spirit of searching. Across twelve moon songs — standards and originals in trio, quartet, and quintet settings — Flocks places his patient saxophone in the center of the album’s orbit. Featuring Garret Lang, Jay Bellerose, Will Graefe, & Jacksonport, Moonshades arrives on West Cliff Records April 10th, 2026.
